What you'll learn

This full-day workshop goes beyond a basic introduction. Through four in-depth sessions, experienced Plant Empowerment trainers will demonstrate how these principles can be applied in practice using real greenhouse examples, data, and case studies. Whether you are new to Plant Empowerment or looking for a structured way to start applying its principles, this workshop provides practical tools and actionable insights that you can implement directly in your own greenhouse.

  • Interpret climate and crop data more effectively

  • Improve crop uniformity and resilience

  • Optimize ventilation, irrigation, and lighting strategies

  • Translate Plant Empowerment principles into daily growing decisions

The basic principles

Understanding Plant Empowerment

Plant Empowerment is a cultivation philosophy that helps growers create the optimal conditions for plants to regulate their own processes and perform at their best. Rather than steering individual climate factors in isolation, the approach focuses on the balance between energy, water, and assimilates within the plant.

By understanding these natural balances, growers can build more resilient crops, improve plant health, and increase efficiency in the greenhouse.

The philosophy is built around three core principles:

  • Energy balance – managing light, temperature, and climate to support plant activity
  • Water balance – maintaining a stable root zone and transpiration
  • Assimilate balance – ensuring the plant produces and distributes sugars effectively

Empower your knowledge. Grow your impact.

Start growing more sustainable and profitable by keeping the three plant balances in equilibrium
