Understanding Plant Empowerment

Plant Empowerment is a cultivation philosophy that focuses on creating the right conditions for the plant to perform optimally. Instead of steering individual factors, the approach looks at the balance between energy, water and assimilates within the plant.

By understanding these balances, growers can create a more stable crop, improve plant health and increase efficiency in the greenhouse.

The philosophy is built around three core principles:

• Energy balance – managing light, temperature and climate to support plant activity
• Water balance – maintaining a stable rootzone and transpiration
• Assimilate balance – ensuring the plant produces and distributes sugars effectively
